Pops of bold color, layered decor elements, classy yet spooky!

Halloween decor can be a tough to keep elevated and classy. We see a lot of plastic skeletons, carved pumpkins, tissue paper ghosts -- and while definitely fun and halloween-esque, I wanted to play around with a more modern, layered and classic feel - with a spooky twist. Here's my compilation! This entryway is gleaming with metallic accents and layered dark tones - we see a tribute to that spooky halloween skeleton with Van Gogh's "Head of a Skeleton with a Burning Cigarette" and a creepy "severed head vase" that can be used year-round based on what you place inside (succulent for summer/red berries for winter ;)). I love this look and I wish I could implement it in my own space - but my budget this year is looking like tissue paper ghosts. A girl can dream! :)
