Dear Santa... My Lulu & Georgia Wishlist

One of my favorite gems of curated online retail world is Lulu & Georgia

. . . Their designers draw inspiration from all over the world, curating a collection of items that is meant to inspire and invigorate their clientele. I created a list of 5 items hosted by Lulu & Georgia I'd love for Santa to leave under my tree!

We don't have a chimney, Santa -- but I'll leave the front door open if you've got one of these 5 picks on your sleigh!

Number 1 :

Agate Coaster Set, TealBring one of a kind beauty to your coffee table or desk with this glamorous accessory.

I love how these coasters are cut to highlight the natural concentric circles, making them a conversation piece drawing a pop of color to your holiday table scape.

Number 2:

Emma Holiday Ornaments, Set of 4      Our Emma Holiday Ornaments will add a dash of color and excitement to your home for the holidays! Consider grouping with other colors of the Izmir Ornament for a finished look.

These ornaments are so sweet and simplistic, bringing a modern and refreshing look to your Christmas tree decor.

Number 3 :

Taliba Indigo Mudcloth + Fur Pillow -Pillows made with handmade indigo and mud cloth textiles from Mali, Africa backed with faux fur.

I worked on Shibori in textile school and let me tell you - it's a painstaking process that produces such a gorgeous result. I love the dyed fabric mixed with the faux fur - perfect for any accent chair.

Number 4 :

Jonathan Adler Animalia Coasters -      On a table or at your bedside.

These are a perfect host/hostess gift - they're adorable, bright and flashy, and can be multi purposed as a trinket dish by the bedside.

Number 5:

Del Chandelier, White Glam up your space with our ever-so elegant Del Chandelier. A luxurious feel without the glitz, but still enough to charm all guests.

If you've read my other BlogMas posts you already know my obsession with wooden beads. I love how this piece is both casual with the draped bead look, yet totally graceful in it's classic chandelier shape.

Minimalist-Inspired Holiday Decor

❆ Welcome to BlogMas! ❆

I'm working towards having a blog for you for the next 25 days -- AHH! I'm hoping it will kick me into gear and work towards creating more content for you all in the new year. My schedule looks like this -- one day we'll have a Christmas/Holiday related post (today), and the following day will be a non-Christmas related design post (tomorrow), and so on. I thought it'd be nicer to mix it up this year! Let me know what ya think! :)

Now, on to Minimalist inspired Christmas Decor . . .

• Wood Bead Garland •

The wood bead garland - so simple, yet so decorative. A nod to farmhouse style, we see this trend nestling it's way into Minimalist decor with modern additions like geometric forms and woven tassels. I love how these beads mesh so well with natural elements like the Eucalyptus garland and of course draped 'round the classic Christmas tree. I also love how the shape emulates the classic cranberry strand with a neutral, modern twist.

• Decorative Hoop Wreaths •

Decorative Hoop Wreaths - a bright, modern and fresh alternative to the traditional Christmas wreath.  These pieces are relatively easy to DIY, all you need is a hoop of any kind (wire, embroidery, woven) and some greenery artistically arranged in either a minimalistic spray (image 3) or a full and festive bunch (image 1).

• Handmade Ornaments •

Nothing sweeter than a macaroni ornament made by your 3-year-old, right? Of course those are the most cherished type of handmade ornaments, but no one says we can't add some style to the mix. Here are some examples of simple, minimalist handmade ornaments that will freshen up your tree. I love the color coordination of black and white against the deep green of the evergreen branch. The best part is your 3-year-old can totally help you with these DIY's. :)
